Service
The right extinguisher, in the right place, in working condition. We help you select, install and maintain portable extinguishers that suit the fire risks in each area of your facility.
Overview
Portable extinguishers are the first line of response to a small fire. They only help if the extinguishing agent suits the fire risk, the units are where people can reach them, and they have been maintained.
Safe Bharat supplies and installs extinguishers for factories, plants, warehouses, offices and commercial buildings, and services existing units so they stay ready for use.
Applications
Industries: Manufacturing, Warehouses & Logistics, Commercial Buildings, Chemical & Fertilizer Plants

Supply, installation or servicing is carried out by our team in coordination with your site safety procedures.
Work is tested, recorded and handed over with the relevant documentation.
Periodic maintenance and an AMC keep the system ready for use.
Standards
Which requirements apply depends on the occupancy, the hazards and the local fire authority. We confirm the applicable requirements for each project. This list is general information, not a statement of certification.
Indian Standards, including the national building standards, are published by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). Check the current edition, any amendments and the edition your local authority applies before relying on a clause.
FAQ
Answers about our scope describe how Safe Bharat works. Technical answers are general information: the codes that apply to your site, the manufacturer's instructions and your local fire authority take precedence.
It depends on what could burn in each area: ordinary combustibles, flammable liquids, gases or energised electrical equipment. We assess each area during the site survey and recommend the type and capacity.
Tell us the make, type and quantity when you enquire. We will confirm whether we can service them after we have inspected the units.
Yes, refilling is part of our extinguisher service. A unit that has been discharged, even partially, should be refilled before it goes back into service.
Our range includes ABC dry powder, carbon dioxide (CO₂), water-type and mechanical foam extinguishers. The capacity, rating and make for each area are selected for your requirement and confirmed in our quotation.
CO₂ extinguishers are often chosen for electrical rooms, control panels and server areas because they leave no residue. Water-type extinguishers are not suitable for energised electrical equipment. CO₂ displaces oxygen, so units should be positioned and used with care in small, enclosed spaces. The choice for each area should follow a site assessment and IS 2190.
Inspection and maintenance of first-aid extinguishers are covered by IS 2190 and the manufacturer's instructions. Under an Annual Maintenance Contract we agree the inspection and servicing schedule with you and record the status of every unit.
